GRATITUDE IS GOOD THERAPY!

"When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around."
                    Willie Nelson

We've all heard people say we ought to count our blessings. When we think about the things for which we are grateful, that's what we're doing. Taking time to think about the things for which we are grateful, no matter how small they may be, causes those those things to increase and has a tendency to be life changing.

Try an experiment. Start a Gratitude Journal. Every night for a week, take ten minutes and write down ten things for which you are grateful. The next morning, take five minutes and read your entry from the night before. It will surprise you the effect or impact this has on you. Most people continue to keep their Gratitude Journal from that point on.

"Better to lose count while naming your blessings than lose your blessings to counting your trouble."
     Maltbie D. Babcock (1858-1901)
